About

Little Closets is a children’s consignment boutique selling new and gently-used clothing, gear and accessories for children and parents on 46-46 Vernon Blvd in Long Island City-Queens, NY.  Our hours are Mon-Sat 10-6, Sun 12-6, we are closed Tuesday.  Our email address is littleclosets@yahoo.com.

The store offers a sustainable, “recession friendly”, community-oriented retail option for the rapidly growing population of small children in the area.  Further, the store offers a place to bring little children where there will be no fear of their little hands breaking priceless goods.  The eclectic and child-friendly décor has story corner, puppet theater, and chalkboard fun for the little shoppers.

Little Closets should be understood as a retail option that has double potential for its customers.  It will offer a way to fill the little closets of our babies, toddlers, and children in an affordable and convenient way.  Plus, it offers an economic and efficient way to clean out our little closets in order to make room for our growing children.

Letia Frandina, owner, lives in the neighborhood with her husband and 2 year old son.  She states, “We went through three shoes sizes this summer alone, and now have at least four pairs of shoes that are barely worn but too small for our little man.  We are excited to bring an option to the community that allows for donations, consignment opportunities, and budget-conscious purchases for all the growing families in the area.”

Little Closets is currently accepting consignment and donations of gently used clothing, toys, books, children’s gear (strollers, small furniture, slings), and maternity wear.  Please contact littleclosets@yahoo.com for further information, P: 718.707.0470.

  3. Hi! My friend Naomi Tepper told me about your boutique. I would love to check it out some time soon. She mentioned prenatal yoga classes…but don’t see on the site. Have the classes not started yet? Thanks! Look forward to meeting you soon.

  4. I went to Little Closets for the first time this weekend. Mainly to check it out and see what types of items I could bring in for sale.

I ended up leaving with a smile on my face and two bags of items.

I am so excited this opportunity to dress my daughters well exists. I do hope people start bringing in more big girl clothes (size 7 and up…)

Thank you Letia and family for running such a smooth and fun operation!
